puerto rico

Lucymar Garcia is a missionary with Athletes in Action, the sports ministry of Cru (formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ). She works on college campuses in Puerto Rico, reaching out specifically to athletes. Lucymar has a big heart for the Lord and desires others to come to a personal relationship with Him. As she builds relationships with students through their commonality as athletes, the desire is for students to give their lives to Christ, be in a discipling relationship and then begin to disciple another.  They also pray to find believers who will start movements for Christ on their campuses. As that happens Lucymar can then move on to another campus and repeat the same. Please be in prayer for Lucymar as she continues to reach students for Christ.

Haiti

The late Dr. Ray Krueger and his wife, Connie met Pastor Fred Fils Aime multiple times on medical mission trips to Haiti in 2010 after the earthquake and cholera outbreak. They stayed in touch with Pastor Fred and were blessed to build an orphanage in the slums of Citi Soleil, which Pastor Fred and his wife Elistine managed. Then five years ago, a small Christian school was started for 50 children in the church of a remote village called Feja which is near Mirabalais.

Africa

Hope of Africa was founded by Heather Lytle.  As a young adult, Heather worked for an international choir organization.  Her job was to shepherd children orphaned by AIDS as they sung in a choir to raise money for countless children in this dire situation.  Suddenly, the choral organization folded, leaving dozens of children in her care without a home, parent, or caretaker.  Heather worked on the ground to help these children, working to comfort, counsel, and advocate for them.  Over time, the Lord gathered many partners, and to this day her many children are now working as disciple makers in Africa and the middle east.  They have gained work skills, become parents, gone to university, and work in government and industry as sustainable members of the body of Christ.

thailand

Singharaja Church is located in the city of Kalasin, Thailand, an area that is highly unreached for the Gospel in Eastern Thailand.  In fact, only 1 out of 250,000 people in this region follow Jesus Christ, making this part of the world part of the Frontier of Christian Missions.  It is such a joy to partner with those laboring for the Gospel here, as they have very few partnerships to bring comfort, encouragement, and advocacy.
